The first 5 kilometers from Medebach to Medelon on the L617 are just right to get you going. The route gradually becomes hillier as it continues to Hallenberg. From Hallenberg onwards, you have to pedal hard, as you have to climb 300 meters in altitude over the next 5 km. The Pastorenwiese cross-country skiing center is located at an altitude of 680-700 m, which you pass. After another climb near Wunderthausen, the route is relaxed until Girkhausen. But soon the next challenges are on the program with Mollseifen and Winterberg.
Winterberg is crossed on the B236 and B480. After the 2nd traffic circle, the tour continues very close to the source of the Ruhr via the K50 through the Orketal via Elkeringhausen to Küstelberg. The highest point of the tour is reached at 694 m at the high ropes course. The last 7 km back to the starting point in Medebach is a relaxed downhill ride.
