The route runs through the Fürstenberg Forest to Bad Wünnenberg and on via Büren and Borchen to Lichtenau. Up to here, the profile was rather flat, but with the ridge of the Eggegebirge, a series of crisp climbs follow in the second half. Compared to the other long tours, this tour is easier to assess.
