Neuenrade
Neuenrade
We leave Neuenrade on the main road 229 in the direction of Arnsberg. After passing the villages of Langenholthausen and Mellen, the route leads to Langscheid. The new promenade invites you to take a break here. You can relax with a tranquil view of the Sorpesee. You can fortify yourself with the wide range of local restaurants.
After crossing the dam, the route leads back along the forest side to Amecke. From here, we start the return journey, which leads through the Dieken valley and Affeln back to Neuenrade.
Wearing a bicycle helmet should be a matter of course for all cyclists. Before setting off, check that your bike is in perfect condition. For demanding tours, we recommend packing plenty of drinks and snacks.
A rescue point system has been installed throughout the region (Soest district, Hochsauerlandkreis, Märkischer Kreis, Olpe district and Siegen-Wittgenstein district). Rescue points can be found on the information boards at the junctions of the Südwestfalen cycle network.
