After a short roll-in phase, the first sweat-inducing section awaits with the climb to the Steinernes Kreuz. Things are more pleasant after the rapid descent on the 6-kilometre-long steady climb to Bracht. The serpentine descent to Oedingen is followed by a phase of recovery on the flat section to Elspe, the site of the famous Karl May Festival. We follow the lovely Repetal valley for a while before the last climb for the time being takes us to Heggen, and thus into the Bigge valley. The route continues flat to Attendorn, where the Altstadt invites you to take a short break. There is plenty of time to relax along the Listertalsperre dam. At Stade, we now cross the Biggesee to leave the Bigge valley again in the direction of Olpe. The next few kilometers are very undulating and take us briefly to the Biggesee once again. The Repetal welcomes us for the second time, but we leave it via Jäckelchen in favor of the Veischede valley. Over 200 meters of elevation gain are in our way up to the Benolpe cross. A difference in altitude that makes our legs feel even heavier given the distance we have already covered. It's almost done, because the climb along the Siberbach stream is more relaxed than the others. The Flapetal valley accompanies us on the last few kilometers, steadily descending back to Kirchhundem.
