The Bestwig Beer Tour leads past the beer metropolis of Warstein, through the Arnsberg Forest and back down into the beautiful Rur Valley near Freienohl.
Grevenstein is the next beer metropolis of the Sauerland on the route. After riding around the Homert massif, we follow the Salwey valley to the Wennetal valley. After the tough climb to Oesterberge, the route goes up and down to the Rimberg.
From here, a long descent follows to Bödefeld and then through the Valmetal valley to Bestwig.

A rescue point system has been installed throughout the region (Soest district, Hochsauerlandkreis, Märkischer Kreis, Olpe district and Siegen-Wittgenstein district). Rescue points can be found on the information boards at the junctions of the Südwestfalen cycle network.
The road bike tours of the Bike Arena Sauerland run on roads where motorized traffic is to be expected.
