Medebach
Medebach
Medebach Bay is often referred to as the "Tuscany of the Sauerland" because it is usually milder here compared to the rest of the Sauerland and it rarely rains. The unique natural diversity in the "Medebach Bay European bird sanctuary" with its many rare and endangered bird species and extraordinary flora is an experience for every nature lover.
The tour leaves Medebach in an easterly direction and leads us straight into the Aartal. A short, steep hill has to be overcome. But you can already take a short break at the fish ponds. We cycle on through the fields to Goddelsheim and back to the Aar in Münden on paths that are as beautiful as they are easy to cycle.
We pass the farms of Roninghausen, cross the Orke a little later and cycle slightly uphill through the fields back to Medebach.
